What it means

What is immigration compliance?

Immigration compliance is the ongoing work of keeping your company and its people lawfully authorised to reside and work in the UAE. Every business that sponsors staff has two sides to stay on top of: the company's own immigration standing, and the status of each employee it sponsors.

On the company side, that means holding a valid establishment (immigration) card, an approved labour quota for the visas you can issue, and a clean file with the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE), the Federal Authority for Identity & Citizenship (ICP) and — for free-zone companies — your zone's own immigration desk.

On the people side, each employee needs a work permit, an entry permit or in-country status change, a medical and Emirates ID, and a stamped residence visa — then timely renewal of all of it before expiry, plus proper cancellation when someone leaves.

Get it right and hiring, banking and audits run smoothly. Let something lapse and the cost is real: fines, overstay penalties, blocked quotas and labour bans that can stall your whole operation. We keep the calendar, the paperwork and the authorities in order so you don't have to.

What we handle

What immigration compliance covers

One team looks after every moving part of your company's immigration file — the corporate registrations and each individual visa, from first application through to renewal or cancellation.

Establishment & immigration card

Opening and renewing the company immigration file and establishment card that let you sponsor employees in the first place.

Work permits & labour quotas

Securing and topping up your MOHRE labour quota, then applying for the work permits that authorise each new hire.

Residence visas & Emirates ID

Entry permits, status change, residence-visa stamping and Emirates ID for employees, investors and their dependants.

Medical & biometrics coordination

Booking and shepherding the mandatory medical fitness test and biometric capture so nothing stalls the visa timeline.

Renewals, amendments & cancellations

Tracking every expiry, processing renewals ahead of time, updating details after changes, and cancelling cleanly on exit.

Family & dependent sponsorship

Sponsoring spouses, children and domestic staff — salary thresholds, attestation and the paperwork that comes with each.

What's involved

What you need to stay compliant

The exact list depends on your licence type, emirate and whether you're mainland or free zone — but these are the essentials we set up, hold on file and keep current on your behalf.

Valid trade licence & establishment card

An active licence and a current establishment/immigration card — the foundation for sponsoring anyone.

Approved labour quota

A MOHRE (or free-zone) quota that sets how many visas you can issue, sized to your activity and office.

Registered tenancy (Ejari) & office proof

An attested tenancy contract and premises that support your quota and residence-visa applications.

Signed employment contracts (WPS)

MOHRE-registered offer letters and contracts, aligned to the Wage Protection System for salary payments.

Passports, photos & KYC

Passport copies, photos and personal details for each employee or dependant being sponsored.

Attested educational documents

Degree or qualification attestation where the role or profession requires it for the work permit.

Medical fitness & Emirates ID

A passed medical test and completed Emirates ID application for every residence visa issued.

An expiry calendar you can trust

A tracked schedule of every card, permit and visa expiry, with renewals actioned well before the deadline.

The signals

When you need immigration support

Immigration work tends to arrive as a deadline or a problem. If any of these sound familiar, it's time to hand the file to a team that does this every day.

You're hiring

New employees need work permits and residence visas issued quickly and correctly — without pulling your team off their jobs.

Renewals are falling due

Cards, permits or visas are approaching expiry and you need them renewed on time — before fines and overstay penalties start.

You've run out of quota

Your visa allocation is used up and you need to expand it — or restructure your office and licence to unlock more.

An inspection or audit is coming

A MOHRE or immigration inspection means your files, contracts and WPS records need to stand up to scrutiny.

You're restructuring

An ownership change, licence amendment or address move ripples through your establishment card and every sponsored visa.

Someone's leaving

Departing staff need their visas cancelled properly and on time — the step most often missed, and the one that blocks new quota.

How we help

From application to renewal, in five clear steps

One team runs your immigration file end to end — the company registrations and every individual visa — with a fixed fee agreed up front and a clear view of which step you're on.

1 Day 1

Review & quota check

We audit your licence, establishment card and existing visas, confirm your quota, and map exactly what each person needs.

2 Day 1–2

Approvals & permits

We open or renew the establishment card, secure or top up the labour quota, and apply for work permits with MOHRE or the free zone.

3 Day 2–5

Entry permit & status

We obtain the entry permit or process an in-country status change so the visa can be completed inside the UAE.

4 Day 5–10

Medical, Emirates ID & stamping

We coordinate the medical and biometrics, complete the Emirates ID, and get the residence visa stamped and issued.

5 Ongoing

Renewals & compliance

We track every expiry, handle renewals, amendments and cancellations, and keep you inspection-ready all year round.
